Don't know if it requires .51, but that is what I have.

Simple to do.

Entry here:

the the short version is so simple..... (you don't need the btkeyboard plugin)

put keyboard in to pairing mode
$ gainroot
# hidd -n --search

that's all- it should connect and work.

Can't seem to comment on your blog as I get a 404, however the "Return opens/closes the virtual keyboard" affects other Bluetooth keyboards as well.

It seems that to ensure the app detects the change in input method, it must receive some prodding. I find the easiest way is to just tap on the Applications menu on the left-hand side of the screen: when I return to, say XTerm, return on the keyboard now works correctly.

That is so wierd, no matter what I do I can't get that post on my blog about the apple keyboard to work in the 'archive' or comments mode... something screwy with WordPress 2.0- that's what I get for moving to it this soon.

I've not had any luck on the 770 getting my keyboard to work. Using the same steps on my FC4 desktop system, it works exactly as you say. On the 770, I get prompted for a passcode for the connecting "phone". Did you change any config files at all? I'm running the .51 image.

Very nice. This is a great use for a keyboard that I sunsetted!
