Chinese / Japanese character

Hi all,

I am a newbie to Linux.. is there any way to read chinese and japanese character on linux? Is there any third party app that support chinese and other Asian character?

You need install a Chinese/Japanese font.
eg. ttf-firefly, download it from http://maemo.guoyong.org/dists/mistral/user/binary-armel/ttf-firefly-1.3.0.deb
