Hi All!

Internet Tablet Talk (itT) will be moving to a bigger, faster server this weekend. Thanks to everyone, the site has grown exponentially. The site will have limited access from 12:01 AM (EST) of 10/27/2007 and hopefully be back by 10/29/2008.

We would like to thank this opportunity to thank the avid members who constantly visit the site with the intention of learning, sharing what they know, and most importantly helping others by answering both simple and highly technical questions. It is the main goal of itT to exchange ideas between internet tablet enthusiasts and we can confidently say that we all have helped pave the way to new, more open, and more improved internet tablets.

We will be upgrading most of the software (forum, blog, etc) as well as prepare for new upcoming features that we are planning to add. It will be more work to maintain the site but hopefully, several of you would volunteer and help with posting news, create tutorials, and shoot videos!

Oh, expect a new updated look too. ;) -- This will be postponed for November.

Again, thank you all the support!

Reggie

Thanks for providing the place, Reggie!

If you need any donations, I'd be glad to pitch in.

Only "bug" I can see is that the text message box starts off reeeeeally small. I have to go to Advanced to get it back to previous size.

Yes, the "Quick Reply" box is too small in IE6 on XP which I've been having to use for the last few weeks - I'll try IE7 on XP later in the week and see if that is similarly affected. With Firefox on XP there is no such problem, it's IE specific.

It's tiny in IE7 on XP, too.

Cute, but practically useless. You know, like any iProduct. :p

Am I really the only one that cares about the wiki being gone?

There was a wiki???

Ok, I kid. For whatever reason, it was largely overlooked. It's a great idea, and a good fit, but... people avoided it. Dunno why. But maybe its disappearance was unintentional?

The Quick Reply box should be fixed now.

As for the Wiki, the update tot PHP 5 messed it up. I'm still trying to find a way to bring it back. I plan to create a new forum-based wiki however for the upcoming OS 2008.

Thanks for the reply Reggie! Although the current wiki isn't exactly hard to find or use, one that people will look at more readily will be good. How many times have I (and others) pointed people to the wiki for "how to"s???!! (hows to?)

Yeah, thanks. I was being induced to create shorter posts there for a while. :p

Hi Reggie - thanks for fixing the Quick Reply box.

Just one other issue, now with the "Advanced Reply" page (not sure what to call it, but it's the page you go to when clicking "Post Reply").

On the "Advanced Reply" page the main text input box is too wide in both IE7 and FF2, and the smilie icons on the right hand side extend beyond the width of the main content area - in IE7 the smilie icons are hidden but in FF they are still visible (I also just noticed the smilie icons have a title of "Smilies" which is using a white on white font!)

The "Post Icons" group is also too wide (with clipping occuring in IE7) but this could be due to the text box above it being too wide.
