I'll let them do the talking for me. It's running fast Englightenment as it's window manager and has 512MB RAM and an 80GB HDD. Vista would croak on that but Ubuntu blazes.

I'm currently throwing it's os on an old dell laptop to play with.

Barry: My sister just threw it on a new Dell laptop (not offered with Linux in Canada yet) and it's behaving nominally. The only issue I saw was that if you flick the WiFi on/off switch, the wifi stops and won't go back on. Battery life was 4 hrs, as advertised for Windows OSes. Even the built in webcam works. She ran it on her desktop for about 3 months at my urging, and I've been running it for 11 months now. Hella stable, and once you get out of the Windows mindset, hella enjoyable.

And hella free.

Cheers,
Hella Hedge

Yea, it's Ubuntu with Enlightenment. I've been running Ubuntu on my x86's for a couple years, Slackware before that. My torrent got corrupted last night, so I redownloaded it today at work. Got it running in fusion on my mac. Pretty cool, hopefully it runs better than 7.10 on my dell.

That is so cool. I love Everex's philosophy on it.

Okay, it's laggy as hell on a Latitude c840. Time to go back to 7.10 and try out flux, maybe that will work better. Man my macbook pro has me spoiled, unfortunately it's a work computer and that's going away in Feb.
