Hi gang, I'm new to forum and interested in purchasing an n810.

Ok, it's a bit embarrassing, but I'm curious if anyone with an n810 could do me a favor and visit nickjr.com and pbs.com and try to play any of the flash games? My kids use these sites all the time and I'm curious if they'd work on the 810 for when we're out of town for entertainment.

Separately, for my needs, I'm curious how espn.com and enquirer.com render.

Thanks!
KF

Heres a thread about general web performance.

Espn is too slow to use. For my standards anyways. Not that I visit sports sites anyways.

The Enquirer works good. Some formating issues I think are due to the small screen size tho. There is like a huge white space of nothing in the middle of the page between the last headline and the footer.

Heres a link to a video on youtube I made last month that shows flash game performance amung other things. Flash game performance starts at 00:41. The flash games in the 2 sites you asked about perform similarly. (ie, Poorly and unplayable)

Some flash games do perform good however.

The sites for nickjr and pbs perform "ok" IMO the pbs site was more usable than the nickjr site.

Hope this helps.

Karwee,

THANK YOU! This was very helpful. Again, thank you for taking the time to test for a complete stranger!
