If I plug in my N800 without using the Upgrade Wizard- Vista sees my N800 and its 2 SD cards without problem. But of course I wanted to update to the new OS2008, and when following the instructions to the T (holding the home key, USB symbol shows, etc.) the Nokia Update Wizard never finds my tablet.

Any suggestions on solving this?
Using Vista Ultimate on DualCore2 2GB RAM, etc.

Thanks

Sounds like the exact same situation I had.

Before they updated the Windows flash program last month around when they put out the OS2008 beta. Since then it works just fine. If your flash program is from before that... then it doesn't officially support Vista and you need to download the newer flasher.

If you have the newer flash program... I can't help you... because it should work fine.
