I submitted this way-way-not-even-beta application that extracts Outlook into XML files. It extracts calendars, contacts, tasks, journals, inbox (email items) and notes. Just for fun. Use at your own risk. I suggest that you do like I do, and have archive folders for your Inbox, so that your current email isn't all in one folder, or it will take a while and create a very large inbox.XML file.

I created this a week ago, in .NET, but I had a little trouble creating a setup.exe (installer) in .NET, plus I didn't think people should have to install the .NET framework if they didn't want to, so I re-wrote it in good ol' reliable VB 6.0.

The link no longer works, and is it possible to run it in some automatic mode without a GUI (like the Funambol Outlook SyncML plugin)?
