View Full Version : Is Canola still available for the 770?

I've been trying to find a working install for the 770 to no avail. The new version of Canola2 is apparently not available for the 770.

But the one click installs on the maemo website, and the old version on the Canola website both don't work.

Can anyone help? Much appreciated. I had Canola on my 770 before reformatting and I'd like it back!

http://openbossa.indt.org.br/canola1/help.html

Change all urls there to use canola1, like that:

For 2006:
http://openbossa.indt.org.br/canola1/repository/770/

For 2007HE:
http://openbossa.indt.org.br/canola1/repository/bora/

Unfortunately 770 users were left out in the cold on the new version. I thought they said that it would work initially.

The Canola2 package depends on 60 (!) dependencies which all get installed when installing Canola. Packaging so much stuff for the 770 takes time. I'm sure they'll release it for the 770 within the next few weeks.

And why not posting in the "canola forum"
