Is there like an auto download thing or anything like that? Because I love this feature, it was the sole reason I used UKMP for awhile, then realized that its audio playback sucked arse.

But yeah, is there some sort of option I've yet to see? Or do I have to get the covers by hand and add them to files by hand?

Kagu (http://kagumedia.com/) has automatic download of covers, among other things (http://kagumedia.com/projects/kagu/wiki/KaguFeatures).

EDIT: Sorry, I didn't notice that this was in Canola forum. Opening the thread from Firefox Live bookmark (RSS feed) scrolled that information outside of the screen.

Kagu is cool, but I like the ability to just go to a song, click on it and have it play. Not have to add it to a playlist, go to that playlist, click on that song then have it play.

Not perfect, but i prefer Canola2 over Kagu, seeing that i could not get the latter to start

Canola Tuning currently gets its album art via the Internet.

Be aware that improvements are coming to Canola2 surrounding the reading of the album Art stored in the audio files and or their folders.
(Which is preferable if the user has already prepared album cover art)

Read earlier Canola threads for more information i.e. http://internettablettalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13605

Improvements to tuning plugin not available at time of adding this post.

Brilliant, audio and video tuning works like a charm.

I've been messing with all the different players and I've come back to Canola (again) I had it installed the day ver. 2 beta was released but un-installed a few days later as it was missing the cover arts and a few other minor issues, thanks so much to Handful and the entire INDT team.

TTgowings :

Thanks, and don't worry that we are not sleeping =) there's so much fixes coming and so many improvements that we've planned and also that you guys asked that we want to pack it asap to release. I believe from the first update onwards people will really start felling the difference as we make the edges less rough.

=)
