N810 Secure WI-FI Connection Problem

I have had my new N810 for about a week now, and I am impressed by all the features it has. However, I ran into a problem connecting to a secure FIOS network at my brother's house. I have no problem at home connecting to the internet through my Linksys router. When I try to connect to the FIOS Actiontech router with the correct WEP key, I get the message "Unable to retrieve IP address, maybe wep key error". I have prevously connected to the same FIOS network router with my Netgear Skype enabled phone with no problem. It puzzles me that the N810 will not connect. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are other factors. Make sure he doesn't have mac filtering enabled, that the proper wifi mode is enabled (with my Netgear mimo router it HAS to to be mixed b/g or the tablets will not connect). There are also plenty of threads here that discuss access point troubleshooting.
