So the front shell of my 800 is kind of scratched up. I was thinking of painting it, but the holes for the speakers and such kind of present a problem.

I have some really nice metallic blue paint that would look awesome, but I don't know how to go about tackling the holes. Some are so small they will definitely get clogged.

Possibly, I could plug them with needles and toothpicks from the underside, and pull them down after the whole thing has dried.

It would be tricky. Just thinking out loud.

Powder-coating it would be the way forward here. There was a thread here a while back. I'll search for it.

So the shell would have to be completely metal then. Is it?

Thanks, It doesn't look like that company ships to the US, though. I'm still trying to figure it out.

If you are in the US you have even more options. There are powder-coating companies who will probably do the job for you for under 10 bucks.
