I just ordered a n800 and been reading all about the bluetooth issue but will this work to stream to my stereo. It works with everything else that has a headphone jack. Figured I could log onto rhapsody through wifi and then stream the audio to my stereo with this. Sort of the poor mans sonos.

I really have no idea. In theory it should work but the transmitter is made for an Ipod - see picture - not sure if will work with the N8x0 or how the plug will nest to the tablet.

sorry posted the wrong one. this is the one - without that ipod connector. This just has the 3.5 mm connection. Have used it with my zen vision, old discman, etc. Think it would be cool to stream rhapsody to my home theater w/o any wires in the way.

I have a Roku Labs Soundbridge, which is simply an amazing device. It has built in WIFI and will stream Internet radio as well as Rhapsody (and stream music files off your network) to your stereo. It includes digital and analog output connections.

I am not certain as to the quality of sound output by the N800, but if you are going to spend the money anyway for a streaming solution, I would vote for the Soundbridge. You can pick them up on ebay...

Why don't you just plug the N800 directly into your stereo system via the headphone jack output? It can stream internet sources via WiFi from your wireless router. That's what I do.

I have to 2nd that, I have a Roku M500 and it works awesome, you can probably pick them up now for under a $100 on ebay. Not only that you can use the N800 to control you're Roku.
