I did not really see a thread for N900 Applications so anyone please feel free to use this one.

- Does the N900 have a "remote desktop" type application to remote Windows PCs? - AnimalMind
maemo4 has vnc client, and I suppose it will be able to be prted to 5 in short order
Logmein also ported their application optimized for the n800/n810. Hopefully we will see something similar for the n900.

- How about Pandora? - bAxon
Sicne Pandora is Flash, it ought to work. But it's US only, so it won't work for most users at all.

... has anyone tried out Hulu.com's service on the N900 and how that looks on the device? - AnimalMind
From what I read on here (yes it has been tried). It's a little on the slow side (but it works).

The N800/N810 had one (I've used it quite a bit).

In the fremantle Extras-Devel repository it shows Rdesktop-cli so it is currently compiled for it. I'm not sure the state of it since I don't have a n900 to actually test it.

We had VNC, RDP and NX on the N800, so it will certainly be possible.

This brings up a great question, has anyone tried out Hulu.com's service on the N900 and how that looks on the device?

Does anyone know if either of the following are being planned:

An app to turn the N900 into a wi-fi hotspot using the 3G connection. Similar to MyWi (http://www.rockyourphone.com/index.php/mywi.html) on the iPhone. I use this all the time with my laptop when out and about.

Secondly, is a port of the Deluge BitTorrent client in the works? Would be great for managing remote torrent downloads. The web interface is a viable option too of course but it would be great to have the native client.

Thanks :)

Also looking for xword the acrosslite application.

Dare I say it, but a windows explorer type file manager would be nice - is there anything equivalent I can use???
Love my n900 but not that impressed with the file manager so far

Just tried it, it "works", but it's so slow that it's totally unusable. The video lags way behind the sound and has about a 1/4 of a frame a second. So basically no, hulu doesn't work :'(
