An usb DVB receiver has been made to work with the n800 so the power is there. I guess it's up to nokia to provide an application...

The SU-33W is a bit of a different animal (bluetooth and DVB-H). Since it uses a Proprietary DVB-H streaming protocol (http://europe.nokia.com/find-products/accessories/all-accessories/home-and-office/mobile-tv-receivers/nokia-mobile-tv-receiver-su-33w/technical-specifications) it's entirely up to Nokia to provide support for it.

DVB-H is a standard (superset of DVB-T). The problem is the BlueTooth protocol on top of L2CAP. That part is proprietary. On a positive note no firmware or driver would be required once that protocol is understood.

They are not compatible with each other, but very much alike. So support for DVB-H is easy to add if your software supports DVB-T. A DVB-T actually can receive and decode DVB-H

It seems AMUSE 2.0 is the DVB-H project for Linux

Is it possible that we find out a symbian emulator in order to make the su-33w work?
