The NokiaUSA.com site lists four chargers for the N800:
DC-4 - Car charger
AC-3U - MulitVoltage charger at about $20 US
AC-4U - Travel charger at about $25 US
AC-5U - Travel charger at about $30 US
A long long time ago I remember reading that "travel" chargers were bad for batteries as they tended to charge too quickly. Does this still apply with the type of batteries in the N800? Is the DC car charger a rapid (bad-for-the-battery) charger? Should one avoid charging in the car if possible?
Of the three "AC" chargers is it simply: "The more you pay the better the quality"?
:confused: Why does Nokia make three AC chargers anyway if they all do much the same job?
In the on-line photos they all look to be roughly the same size, what other criteria should one bear in mind to decide which of the ACs to purchase?
