Hello,

I scratched up my n900 pretty bad while running for the bus when it was in my backpack. the scratches are pretty bad but the touch screen still works on those spots.

What is the best way to go about fixing this? This wouldn't be covered by warranty I take it.

I have looked at the service manual from here (http://dostortugas.org/wiki/lib/exe/fetch.php/useful/nokia_n900_rx-51_service_manual_service_level_1_2.pdf) and i'm unsure if you can just replace the front cover plastic?

Apparently you can order parts from this site (http://www.belzakelijk.nl/accessoires/zoeken/511/nokia/2156/n900/41/spare-parts/).

Which part would I need?

Probably the item called front cover.

Probably the item called front cover.

16,76 EUR? Sounds way too cheap to me. I suppose lektap needs the touchscreen part, but don't know for sure either.

You're awesome msand83.

So there is no plastic cover that is the touch screen i have messed up :s..

Should i bother to contact Nokia to get a replacement touch screen or do they not send them out? Does 64 euros sound alright to you guys?
