How can you disable an email account?

Hi All,
Hope someone can help me.

I have set up my pop3 email account on my phone and it works fine.

My issue is I only want it to access my emails when I am out as when I am at home I want to use my pc ... how can you disable the email account temporarily/stop it autochecking the server for new emails?

I have tried taking the password out but all that happens then is I keep getting a notification asking for the password which is extremeley annoying.

Anyone help???? please??

Open Email app, go to Settings from the menu and Disable automatic updates. Unfortunately, you cannot do that per account basis.
