would be nice to see as ive heard nothing of this emulator being ported to n900. Would be nice to play classic arcade fruit machines on my n900. If anyone hears anything or thinks about porting it, let me know

cheers :)

what a great idea, i love mfme but i think it wouldnt work because the roms would have to be made for n900s resolution. not sure

I have zero knowledge about programming. But i'm sure they can be rescaled.

Can anyone with better programming knowledge share your thoughts on this.

designed one in vb once - would be a bit of a pain to start one in scratch - but porting one should be possible. Will have a hunt when i get some free time, but there should be some open source code around.

Not sure it will be any specific fruity emulator, but any would be a start :D

Not quite a fruit machine emulator, but might be an interesting port none-the-less: payslots (http://www.gtk-apps.org/content/show.php/Payslots?content=85725)

Will anyone be interested in taking this project on?

C'mon guys just think your very own fruit/slot machine in your pocket, whilst your friends are blowing there hard earned cash in the pub/bar machine you can be playing it for free (downside you dont win any cash when the machine decides to payout once in a blue moon but in the long run it will save you money).:)

Anyone interested in porting this? :):)

Portrait mode would work really well with touch screen support, it would also require some keyboard support due to some fruit machines use 2 button presses to nudge up etc.

a couple of links to look at

It has been roughly 5 months since my last post on this so i thought i would give it a bump.

There are quite a few good new programmers and porters around now and i ask any of them if they have a free minute to look at this thread and see if this emulator can be done.

If any programmers think demand for this emulator is too low and that is why they have overlooked it, we could do a poll to see what demand is like.

I think a lot of people should give this thread a look from post 1 and they may realise that having a multiple fruit machine emulator in your pocket would kill many an hour or even show off to other tablet/phone users.

I did a google search and if i'm correct there are no other emulators like this on any other phones apart from maybe a windows tablet which may play standard pc ports of the emulator.

Any thoughts from any devs out there? :)
