Bluetooth - activate

Is there a way to always have bluetooth on listen mode? When I restart my n800 bluetooth is off, so when I want to use my keyboard I have to go into the control panel, open up bluetooth, turn it on, open up devices, open up the keyboard, and connect. PITA. With the old bluetooth plugin you could connect from the status bar. Now it disappears when BT isn't on. Any ideas? Is this something that might be addressed with the next vapor - er- firmware?

I took a look on bugzilla, and I found another bug - #949 - in which they state this will be fixed in the next firmware. =) They also give a work-around for the mean time. As root enter:

hciconfig hci0 up

I think I'll give that a try.
