View Full Version : How to install Real Player in N800
Hi,
I am a new N800 user and was wondering if anyone has installed the Linux Real Player to the N800. If you did, could you tell me how to go about getting it in my tablet?
Thanks!

You dont need it the newest firmware supports real player files with the built in media player.

actually my does not. I tried several times to hear short cuts from amazoon, but it doesn't work. It shows the RealPlayer Screen and then it quits playing.
Are there any tricks to make this work?
Thanks,
JCB
I it's a smil file (an xml file containing various informations and an url for a real player file) then the media player can't handle it although it can handle real player files ...
That would be a nice improvment ...

My player plays .ram/.rm files from real player for streaming.

Yes there is.... I am sure you wont be able to adjust this in amazon but the stream pipe needs to be less than 200Kb in order to play fine.... I use orb with real player streaming format and if I go over 200Kb I get a unsupported format error....
Thank you for all your responses. I downloaded the new 2007 OS and new media player works really well!
