I lost my usb cable and i was wondering where can i get a replacement and does it have to be from Nokia? Can it be any cheap cable that i can get at like radioshack, bestbuy or futureshop?

You can also use any MiniUSB cable with an adapter like this (http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.35005).

Convenient if you have several MiniUSB cables already lying around, or tend to also carry around devices that use MiniUSB and don't want to carry several cables, this tiny adapter can be attached to a cable with its rubber band. Good for camera bags where you already have the MiniUSB cable.

Yeah that will do the job. I got one off ebay (uk though) and noticed when getting them off there, there was "data" ones and "charger" ones, but your link seems fine. The one i got was like this one:

I bought a couple of mini>micro adapters off ebay and they wouldn't work at all with my n900. So then I just bought a couple of nokia-branded replacement cables and they worked fine...
