Hi!

Who knows where the Angry Birds save files are located. It is anoying to replay and lost the hight scores after every reflash.

The high scores are in /var/opt/rovio/angrybirds/highscores.lua

This is the only file that I need after a fresh install? Backing up this will unlock all levels with actual progress after reinstalling the game?

not sure about that, but better backup the whole folder.

One more question! How do I change the permission of the files if I don't have a desktop computer? I have filebox installed and I can see that the files are read only.

you need to hit the terminal in order to change the permissions... now, a simpler way is to start the game and complete AT LEAST one level, and THEN copy over the savegame... it worked for me.

it doesn't have to be 100% complete, but I wouldn't complain if it were :P

Thanks it's great,
but one thing is missing
for it to work we would need the settings.lua file also :(
without it the game crashes when you try to play the golden eggs levels

Interesting result when I installed Angry Birds on the N900 I purchased used. The phone, when I bought it, appeared to have been wiped clean of all the previous user data. Last night I installed Angry Birds and discovered the previous owner's high scores, star count and progress had been retained. I'm not sure what efforts the previoius owner took to wipe his data but he missed this.

After flashing my N900 i put the angry birds save data back on place. If I get a new highscore now angry birds crashes and closes. What's wrong?!

PLS i need help: I put the highscores.lua in the angry birds folder in /opt.. Now angrybirds is crashing if i make a new highscore! :confused:
