shouldn't be a problem. you can sync over bluetooth and get over contacts and calender (at least, that's what I did to get the contacts over from my 6110 navigator)

can u please explain how to sync contacts over bluetooth ??

I can try, but I will be translating from commands on a Swedish phone, so I might be a little off.

On the N900 go in to the menu, and then in to settings.

Under connectivity go in to "Transfer & sync"

choose "New" and then follow the guide that starts (should be self-expainalbe).

On my Nokia 6110 I had to choose "Fetch data" in the second dialog of the guide (sync didn't work)

Before you start you should turn on bluetooth on the N97 and make it visable

Hope this helps.

Tnx. I kinda understood the process..

Is there any way to transfer via PC or sumthing??

Is it possible that I backup my N97 contacts via Ovi Suite and then restore the backup on N900 ???

I don't now if the new Ovi Suite is out (the last one didn't support N900, but there have been a closed beta-test for a new version)

You can use Nokia PC suite with the N900, but I havn't tried that (I don't have windows on any of my computers, other than the one at work)

you can use syncml on both.

there are some free or free trial syncml providers out there or you can run your own if you want to with funambol

symbian has integrated syncml, for the n900 there is syncml client called syncevolution

The way I did it when going from an N95 to the N900 was to make sure all the contacts I wanted were in the phonebook of the N95. Then I deleted all the SIM contacts (to avoid any duplicates happening) and then transferred all the phone contacts to the SIM (so I had a fresh list). Put the SIM into the N900 and ported them across to the phone book. Then used the "Merge contacts" feature to clean up.

dont worry, just sync your contact with outlook express.

and when you have n900, you can sync it back with outlook express.

You can use "cable" no need for bluetooth if its too troublesome.

2nd way:
download ovi suite (latest)

you should be able to sync your n97 to your ovi account
and you can sync it back from ovi account back to n900.
