Is Nokia going to update source files as they work on them or do we have to wait for another "big release" to see something ?

Thanks

Why not head over to meego.com and find out? http://wiki.meego.com/Main_Page#Release_Process

You can also follow development in http://meego.gitorious.org.

And can we get over the impression that Handset UX = Nokia? The reference applications are developed by Intel, not by Nokia. The part that is Nokia developed is the UX framework, which has been in the open for months already.

Because its not clear to me if that applies to all or part of the Meego software. The bits I am looking for are the cellular radio driver, GPS radio driver, etc. Is that going to be released before October ?

Random URLs:

http://meego.gitorious.org/meego-cellular/libcmtspeechdata - access to speech path in modem

http://meego.gitorious.org/meego-cellular/telepathy-ring - Telepathy connection manager for cellular calls and SMSs, using oFono as backend.

Modem driver (not audio/pulseaudio) - http://git.kernel.org/?p=network/ofono/ofono.git;a=tree;h=refs/heads/master;hb=master , look for gisi, drivers/isimodem

http://meego.gitorious.org/maemo-multimedia/pulseaudio-modules-meego - Pulseaudio modem audio drivers and such, I believe..

http://gitorious.org/omap3camera - Camera driver

There is a lot of development going on in many different areas in the MeeGo OS as same stack will be used on multiple OS'es and devices.

You might be better off asking at the MeeGo forums or mailing lists.
