On my laptop I use something like
xrandr --output LVDS1 --mode 1280x800 --scale 1.5x1.5
to increase the resolution of my small screen (gets mapped).
Handy for fitting applications on the screen and decreasing
the size of bulky window borders.
Is someting like this possible on the n900 with maemo, or
with easy debian?
