Ok, I searched the forums but did not find anything realted to this. I got my N800 from a forum user just a week ago, and started to install applications.

One of them is the CPU applet / run that I was used to install on the 770, but cannot get it show on the taskbar.

I already reboot the tablet once or twice but without results, also checked that it appears into the installed apps but nothing..
Also tried to install other types of CPU monitors but no one of them seems to work. The device was freshly freshed when I received it.

Any advice?

Thanks, Omar

Which menu are you talking about? The home menu just has the "Applet selection" entry but I cannot find the CPU one in it..

In the navigation control panel.

Yes I found that in the N8000 you can configure which icon to show in the taskbar (as far as I remember this wasn't a 770 feature), but the CPU applet doesn't appear into those ones available to enable / disable

I had the same issue until I found load-applet (https://garage.maemo.org/projects/load-applet/) downloaded the package and installed "from file"
