Which is the best theme?

I would like to know your opinions and suggestions: there are so many now and I have tried just a few of them. At present the one I prefer is maemo theme.

I seem to switch between Carbon, Marina, and Okuda.

No particular order -- I like them all. At the moment I'm back on Carbon :)

i'm using the default n900-theme, digital nature.
by far the best and most decent theme.

I actually tried ALL themes available from extras (devel), most of them are absolutely terrible. Marina is by far the best, also Array has a clean matte style. If you would try marina enable extras devel. that version looks a lot better, also I use milky way wallpaper for extras. The default themes are also pretty good, but i hate those big gray buttons in options...

Hey Harick which version of Marina are you using? I have 1.206 installed and the calendar widget is missing the date on the top left corner. Also is the virtual keyboard updated on yours?

i have the same version mate, but i change the PaintedTextColor in colors.css, colors.config and gtkrc to black

then i replace the use of it in gtkrc, to the text to use ReversedTextColor when i need it white


ok, here are the modified files, just the color fix to solve the calendar widget problem

you need to replace the gtkrc and css folders in /opt/maemo/usr/share/themes/marina/
and copy the color.config to /opt/usr/share/themes/marina

and you are done :D
