@iltambe
Yeh you should try the auto installer instead. it's a lot easier

Don't forget to add the extras/extras devel repositories too :)

Quick question. Installed Nitdroid using auto installer using the N12_umay deb and R6 too. all thats fine.

Why isnt my SMS working?? GPRS is disables (Airplane mode)

Is there a command or package I've missed out? to get this to work?

I installed Nitdroid using Auto-installer..

However, the boot option is not coming up and it directly boots to Maemo..

Slide the scrren out and the reboot. press the which ever option says nitdroid. Wait for reboot now you can slide it closed and prepare for the 1st initial setup.

Also when you want to go back to Maemo you have to reboot and slide the screen up again. basicallly the phone will remember what it booted the last time when the keyboard isn't out and when it is it activates the Multiboot Boot menu.

Try installing Kernel-Power Settings via Application manager that should also install the flasher too then try to install the kernel.

I installed Nitdroid successfully. I can now see the multiboot menu too with the following options :

1 - Maemo 2.6/28-omap1
2 - Maemo kernel-power 2.6.28.10-power48
3 - NITDroid 2.6.28.NIT.07 on mmcblk0p5

However, when I select Option 3, Nitdroid is not booting and I am getting the following error :
" [ 314.646331] Kernel Panic - not syncing: Fatal exception"

and after this noting happens..

Even maemo is not booting. I am getting the following message:
[ 26.977416] r7:fffea0d0 r6:40187f90 r5:40185b48 r4:ffffffff

Question. I've succesfully installed Nitdroid using ammyt's installer - great work by the way, the install was really simple and painless for me, thanks! But how do I install aditional packages like the Google Applications package?

I tried:

bzip2 -d /home/user/MyDocs/gapps-20110828.tar.bz2
root
cd /
mount /home /and
cd /and
tar xvf /home/user/MyDocs/gapps-20110828.tar
exit

But when I reboot my N900 and boot Nitdroid, nothing happens - I mean; Nitdroid boots up normally, but I don't see any Google Applications. Did I miss something or am I doing something horribly wrong? Thanks in advance for your help!

The Autoinstaller 0.2.8-8 seems to be havin some issues.

I have tried installing Nitdroid N12 using Autoinstaller around 5 times, however there seems to be some problem. I have installed after formatting the phone using vanilla image on N900 firmware site.

However, the 6th time, I tried installing NitDroid-0.0.8-Popov using previous old Autoinstaller 0.0.7.

And it got successfully installed and Nitdroid was also running properly.

After that I used tried to upgrade it to N12 Umay using two methods :

1. Downloaded new autoinstaller, and uninstalled previous Nitdroid. However, against during boot up when I select Nitdroid the same Kernel not syncing error started.

2. Again vanilla flashed and then freshly installed NitDroid-0.0.8-Popov and followed procedure of xuggs to upgrade to N12 as given on his website :
http://xuggs.blogspot.com/2010/12/nitdroid-009-xmasdroid.html

Again I get the same kernel issue.

Can someone please help me on the same. Why is Nitdroid 0.0.8 getting installed using old installer, but the new one is not getting installed?

Why am I getting kernel not syncing error? Do I need to have any kernel preinstalled on N900 to install Nitdroid N12 Umay.

Please request you to help me.

Your kind help and support is highly appreciated.

I have been looking over the forums and this thread and have not seen a definite word about this, is anyone having problems getting data to connect? I am able to send/receive text messages, but my signal always says roaming and after creating my APN for T-Mobile, it does not connect. My wife has a Samsung Galaxy and the MNC setting is 260. When creating the APN for myself, the MNC setting is 270. I wasn't sure if this mattered or not.

I am able to connect with wifi, so I can get online. Just wondering if I missed the part that data connection was not working with 2/3G. Also, I have verified that my PIN code lock is not on.

Any information would be helpful. Thanks for your time.

Just wanted to add that I just flashed the eMMC and rootfs, thinking there might be some other underlying issue.

I re-installed Nitdroid from the installer, installation had no errors. I still have the same problem. It is NOT showing the boot menu when I keep the keyboard open during startup.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I was incorrectly installing nitdroid. I was leaving the appmanager open, locking dpkg, and causing the install to not go through at all...

Install finally went through without a problem, and I can now see the boot menu.

Hello,
did the latest autoinstaller and what happens when booting, is the boot menu (white background, black text) with options like "internal flash" - "internal mmc card, partition 2, ext2" - "usb hard drive" and so on.
So from what I understood, there should be a different view when booting so any help how to proceed to get it working?

i think the auto-installer firs tries to install it in mmc and if there is no mmc and it will try to install it in emmc. it searchs for mmc after installing multiboot, kernels etc.

Hey guys I installed U12 using this thread:

http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=72365&page=1

It all installs fine and I get to the logo screen it hung for a bit until I plugged in the charger and it booted into the OS.

I am having another problem though:

I get as far as signing in and it runs for a min or two and then says cannot connect to Google server please connect via wifi so I click the wifi button and boom an error pops up "The Aplication Google services framework (process com.google.process.gapps) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." with the button force close.

If I skip this option a whole bunch of similar errors come up about bluetooth the launcher mms etc and asking me to force close. It seems nothing loads for me. The only thing I can do is restart the device and go back to maemo.

Is there something I need to add through maemo to the SD card to get the applications to work? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

It works but now I'm getting an error. Guru meditation / emmc error.

What is the actual error message?

Btw for me the autoinstallation went like this:
-installed the latest version 0.2.8-8
-it went through saying OK - installed blaa blaa, though i saw error messages here and there during the installation.
- then reboot -> when booting, the boot menu(?) showed options like "internal flash" - "internal mmc card, partition 2, ext2" - "usb hard drive" and so on so could not go on.
- uninstalled with the icon for it (during that it said something like no kernel/multiboot found to uninstall - autoinstaller failed to load them in the first place?!)
- then apt-get install kernel-power-bootimg or something haha
- then autoinstaller -> install with icon for it
- noticed that autoinstaller removed what I had just installed and updated or something.
- after reboot got the multiboot, when choosing nitroid came the error "root filesystem mmcblk1p2 not available guru meditation blaa blaa"
- by changing the correct file in /etc/bootmenu.d/ to this ITEM_DEVICE=mmcblk0p2 got me over of that problem and finally got to use it for real.

If I am not mistaking, the autoinstaller should not continue when facing errors that lead to failure in one form or other.

Are the APN settings hard coded or is it possible to edit these values some how? I think the issue connecting to 3G data is that it is reading a discontinued MNC value that I am not able to change. Using US T-Mobile.

Just brainstorming on this, if anyone has any ideas.

Don't know whether you've tried this, but if not, go to Settings > Wireless & Networks > Mobile Networks > Network Operators and see whether you are connected to the T-Mobile 2G network instead of T-Mobile 3G. I think.

It just asks if I want to select T-Mobile or ATT. I know on the Maemo side it will ask for the 2/3G T-Mobile or ATT.

This one is quite puzzling. I know it worked for me in an older version, I might have to install 0.0.8 or 0.0.9 to see what the settings are in that build.

I noticed this problem when I was trying to connect to an etremely weak wifi signal. If possible, try connecting to a stronger signal and see what happens. If this is the only connection being broadcasted, I'm not sure what else to try.

Ok, when I pick the Nitdroid option on multiboot, it stays on a black screen with it saying ANDROID and the LED's blinking red. Now what? Am I suppose to have some file on the SD Card? I don't have anything on the card.

...Anyone?

vetsin

the black screen with android means it's loading. it takes a while (a very long while) before it finishes. after that black screen you'll be asked to touch the android to begin (or something along that line). that also takes some time so be patient.
i usually get the flashing LED when my battery's low, or sometimes it does that at startup for no apparent reason. :)

...Anyone?
is your n900 turning off after the red led blinking? if yes - have you tried to boot it with the charger connected? ...sounds like the problem with the wrong battery-value reporting. I have this problem almost everytime i boot up nitdroid, wich makes it kind of unusable for me on the go.

Hi
Im having a big problem.
I successfully install nitdroid N12 and kernel 07 rc6.
When boot to nitdroid goes until write ANDROID (not the loading ANdroid) and now the screen show a lot of letters an so on-seems kernel panic. I have to take out the battery. Now maemo not boot and I have to flash kernel again to boot.
When I was using kernel 06 final there was no problem. How I solve that?

I appreciate you! But, it's so hard for me! It's lot of debugging and patching to develop NITDroid, not just compiling. As we know, our device was designated to use Maemo 5 not Android, so we should patch all N900 drivers to work in Android, then compile it into a kernel.

To e-yes, our hero... Please, please, please don't leave us before you have ported Android to N900 completely...

Try to purge "nitdroid-kernel-2.6.28-06" and "nitdroid-kernel-2.6.28-07" using apt-get from XTerminal with NITDroid partition mounted on "/and/" (ignore any warnings and errors), then install "nitdroid-kernel-2.6.28-07_6-rc6_armel.deb" again with dpkg from XTerminal.

If it can't help, clean install your NITDroid maybe can help you. But, I'm not sure... :(

I install kernel 06 final to check if it works and works. Well its not the final version of 07 but until now none of the rc works on my n900.

Hi I believe I have two points/questions/feature requests/whatever? to make:

1)My Wifi Connection never keeps alive. I already tried disabling encryption and going through the advanced and looking of the sleep thing was on and it was not.
If the connection is being used it keeps alive, but if by any chance it stops being used, it disables itself and then I need to manually reconnect.

2)The programs(except for Maps, BUT only after a refresh, because at first it shows the same problem) that use the GPS localization are showing I'm somewhere in the west side of Russia, but I live in the southeast part of Brazil so...

Thank you!

After too many hesitation I decided to reinstall NITDroid by testing the brand new Auto installer! Everything went fine except that in the multiboot, I have four entries:
1 - The stock Kernel
2 - NitDroid rc kernel (I tried to boot with this option and it booted to maemo with the kernel - weird...)
3 - Power kernel
4 - NitDroid

No major problem for me, but how can we do if we want to delete the unused entries (such as Stock kernel and NITDroid kernel) ???

Own Appreciation: @Ammyt: You have done a good work with the Auto installer, but don't forget to mention in the wiki that users could download the NitDroid image separately and copy it to MyDocs, then run the installer!
Anyway, Thanks a lot and (@E-Yes if you read me: we are dying to wait a full stable release of NitDroid)

Hi !

Tried the autoinstaller again after the last time when my n900 jammed during first boot to nitdroid, but then it went to flashing mode with no problems and i could flash the device. This time there went something wrong really badly. Yesterday i tried to install nitdroid via autoinstaller and at first it didnt install power-kernel or multiboot at all and I uninstalled it right after it was done. Then i ran the autoinstaller again and it seemed that everything went well that time. So I left n900 booting itself and apparently the battery had ran out during booting. Now when I try to boot it, only thing that appears on the screen is a lot text lines including :

(ubifs_load_zmode+0*0/ ...)
(ubifs__lookup_level10+0*0/ ... )

and something like this. However, I am able to type reboot(and anything else ofcourse) and it worked so i guess its not fully dead yet? But I cant get it to reboot mode.

If anyone knows how to continue my trip with n900 it would be great !

I tried this fix:

And it "worked" as in, now my n900 is recognized as compatible, BUT, the market application now doesn't even open(it wasn't supposed to anyway, but I cannot install anything) and the battery meter is f***ed.

I don't know why, but at least now the Wifi stays wake(even when not used) all the time.

I'll try to reinstall nitdroid and now only edit the build file in system, as looks like it is the thing that does the trick.

Hope it all goes well, I believe I cannot use the automated installer because I have a "custom" config in my emmc, for earlier.

I see that there is a 0.2.8-8 nitdroid-installer, should I use this one and reinstall?
(I want to install to a 16GB microSD card and uninstalled the almost working version for now...)

Is there a manifest to install?
Does this get me up to the N12 version talked about here? :-)
Do I need to tweak anything or select more up to date packages?

Cheers! :D

Just a very VERY quick question (ok not that quick :) )

I installed a game called "Spectral Souls" and it doesn't let me run it because "Hardware is not supported at this time" (and oviously will never get suported on N900 hahaJ
so my question is:

Is there a way to make this game think it's a supported device? Letting it think the N900 is a Droid X so it runs for example? (Like a android equivalent to hiding user agent?)

I believe you may try that, clear data into the game, (backup) and change those lines and try again. Might work.

For anyone wondering about 2.3.7 - it's a tad on the buggy side, it randomly crashes / reboots and is visibly less responsive. In 2.3.4 flicking between desktops was very smooth, as was scrolling through menus, however 2.3.7 is far slower, very jerky, it often fails to react. (I've got it overclocked to 1.15 GHz)

Skype - Video - not working. The application tends to crash whenever you try - audio seemed not to be working either.

I stuck with it for a day, though I'm going back to 2.3.4 for now.

2.3.7 is very buggy for me also. Most apps are giving "Force close", and is laggy compared to previous release. Market keeps "Force close"'ing on most occasions. Also receiving random reboots just from general browsing around the phone and opening apps, (random being not specific apps or locations).

As this article says;
http://www.tested.com/news/which-android-smartphones-and-tablets-will-get-the-ice-cream-sandwich-update/3063/

"The next thing to consider is hardware specs. This is actually less important than you would expect. Almost all but the low-end phones will be able, technically, to run Ice Cream Sandwich. A Snapdragon S1 or OMAP3 has the horsepower, and 512MB of RAM has been standard for some time. The sticking point for hardware is in the storage department."

Our only problem is the RAM but we have seen that Android is very scalable even with 256mb RAM ;) so, we have the hardware requirements because we have a OMAP3430 board :D

EDIT: compiling right nao  but I already think that adb sync will broke my nitdroid xD

If you get some errors in compiling Android 4.0 on Ubuntu 11.10 x86 apply the following patch, accordingly to what I've found at this link:
http://e-xiao.blogspot.com/2011/10/resolve-build-errors-for-android-234.html
"It will patch line 61 in core/combo/HOST_linux-x86.mk as following.
-HOST_GLOBAL_CFLAGS += -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=0
+HOST_GLOBAL_CFLAGS += -U_FORTIFY_SOURCE -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=0"

I still haven't tried to compile 4.0, interested to hear further news!

You probably should've followed the instructions right, otherwise look through them one more time, and there should be a part about having or not having an sdcard.

Hello,

Tried to install nitdroid, went fine. But it stucks in booting, got this message:

[485.351989] warning: ‘rild’ uses 32-bit capabilities (legacy support in use)

I got that message for an hour, and shutting down with the button won't work, have to pull my battery out.

only those numbers in the front change sometimes. Anyone knows how to solve this?

end2begin
2011-11-17, 15:10
The numbers is the booting time in seconds. A warning is in principe not a problem. Not sure what it could be. I would need the complete dmesg output to be able to say anything constructive, as would other people here.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone use NITDroid all the time on their N900? Or is sort of just a novelty for most? Using Maemo mainly, and switching over to Android sometimes for a kick...

I've installed NITDroid before, and it worked great, but I never flashed it with the 8gb partition because I am a paranoid nutjob when it comes to my gadgets (yup, never flashed my N900. I totally don't belong here...). So I never really got to fully experience it, as there was no space for anything. I suddenly just got curious as to how others use NITDroid, so please - enlighten me!

With the profile that I post here, I can play 720p in Nitdroid (I've just raised the voltages, using LV profile, according to 720p maemo post and raised the dsp to 600). The audio lags a bit, but the video is very smooth now
I think that to have 720p smooth in Nitdroid too, we have to integrate the kp49 patches in nitdroid kernel
You can try by yourself by overwriting the files (from Maemo) in /home/etc with these one (remember to cut .txt extension)

EDIT: Thanks to AWasisto for VDD warning, corrected the last profile by disabling VDD1 and VDD2

Is it stable to use VDD 1 with an OC-ed CPU up to 1000 MHz? Do we have to rename it to "power.conf" in "/and/etc/"? I'm still confused how to use OC profiles in NITDroid.

try to flash your device completely. not just the kernel. complete means complete. then you'll have a brand new N900. thats the only way i think if you want you maemo back.

I've been trying to install this on my 32GB San Disk class 4 micro SD card following the instructions given by AWasisto here (Second Method): http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p=1102388&postcount=3231
I keep running into error after error.
fdisk does not seem to be available for the N900 (sudo apt-get install fdisk reports "E: Couldn't find package fdisk")
wget does not seem to exist.
util-linux_2.13.1.1-1_armel.deb File does not exist when I go to that address with my desktop.
The auto installer for NITdroid does not appear in System or All of my package manager (I do have all 4 Maemo.org repos enabled).

Installed "Enhanced Linux Kernel for Power Users" (uname -r shows 2.6.28.10-power49) but the package manager and xterm claimed the Multiboot Enhanced Kernel could not be installed before or after the install of the Power Kernel. Do I need to use the much older (obsolete) power kernel and then multiboot?

I of course have rootsh and power kernel installed.

What am I doing or where am I going wrong?

Thank you -
David

--- I can find the NITdroid image in the garage, it's all of the other dependencies which are unavailable, non-functional or problematic/
__________________________________________________
I figured things out. I installed the NITDroid 2.7 installer before I installed the dependencies and when I tried to use it I was provided the list of dependencies which had not been met by the app manager. I then used "apt-get install" for each of them in X-Term and now have all of the dependencies met. Just need to figure out how to partition my MicroSD card.. Don't have an external card reader for MicroSD so I'll need to do it within the N900... if only fdisk were available...
__________________________________________________ ___

EDIT: Found the problem. I installed Power Kernel and Multiboot myself before runnning the NITDroid installer and apparently NITDroid installer likes to handle these dependancies itself.
I used Settings>Clear Device and flashed my N900 to remove the Power Kernel then downloaded and ran the installer again. 2.6.8 stopped at Formating ext3 so I upgraded the installer to 2.7 and worked like a charm (but installed popov 0.0.8).
Only problem now is finding any software whcih works with this version from the Android Marketplace (Adobe Flash Player 11 does not and many of the games don't make it through install, killing themselves in that process) beyond Open Office Reader.

No, IMHO NITDroid's 2.3.7 Android version is, being experimental, not worth installing for general use yet. Testing purposes yes, but according to my test it's pretty raw and broken in places where 2.3.4 works fine.

This isn't extras-devel experimental but in-little-pieces experimental. ;)

copy all your songs from .sounds folder to any folder which you have created. e.g My Music folder etc. and make sure there is no .nomedia file in it. mine is overclocked at 1150 mhz. most of the time phone is running at 250 mhz. only sometimes especially when you play some hd games or use some really heavy apps then ur phone's processor will reach at 1150 for few seconds. its totally safe i guess to overclock.

i have downloaded an app from the market to find out all my music inside it with downloadable lyrics and album arts
you will find it in the top rated free i think
* my .sound folder is still with the same name
* i have sat some profiles in the cpuset like when the temp is more that 45 it goes down with the freq. and when the phone screen is idle it goes down too so as to save battery

I am not too keen on overclocking, there is a reason why nokia decided to ship @600MHz rather than 1GHz like other phones at similar timelines with A8. That does not mean it will fry but I like keeping it safe. In Spain no provider gives this phone, do not want to have to pay for it again (mainly because i cannot).

Check this link:
http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=68795

That being said there should not be trouble if it is not pushed hard, but maybe nitdroid pushes it a lot... I have not yet tried it (OCing or Nitdorid I must shamefully admit) :)

EDIT: davdav's approax I think is the correct one, lower if temp too high or idle :D

I have had nitdroid installed many time without problems but tried the new installer after not using nitdroid for 2 months and now nitdroid will not load.

From multiboot it boots fine but stays in a loop on the adroid video in screen with red led flashing, Battery is full, tried to rc 4, 6 and 7 kernels with same result.

Any ideas

Ps. pulled sd card when booting and fails to load ext3 and results in guru meditaion error.

1. Boot into Maemo
2. Open X-Term (Ctrl+X)
3. Run 'vi /home/system/build.prop'
4. Press i to change to edit/insert mode
5. At the end of the file, add the following line:

3. Run 'vi /home/system/build.prop'
4. Press i to change to edit/insert mode
5. At the end of the file, add the following line:
dalvik.vm.heapsize=32m
6. Press 'esc', write ':wq'
7. Boot back into Nitdroid and you should be sweet :)

since that line already exists before the end of that document, shouldn't we just change the value from 20 to 32?

This should be implemented in 2.3.7, totally changes things.

Tis almost a well oiled machine now

im still on 2.3.4
this is great, with this and lowering the textures to 16bit, dungeon hunter 2 hd works smooth almost all the time, and samurai vengeance 2 works better too

Archos 5 and N900 share the same GPS chip (NL5350) and here I found the Archos GPS source code:
http://dev.openaos.org/browser/trunk/gen7/linux/arch/arm/mach-omap2/archos-nl5350.c?rev=139

For Front Camera VS6555 we could port driver from Meego:
http://meego.gitorious.org/maemo-multimedia/omap3isp-rx51/commit/68f564b395869ac0d99197aff0e8a064dd4abc50?format=di ff

Here the dev added support for FM Transmitter on Nitdroid:
https://gitorious.org/nitdroid-2-6-35-kernel/nitdroid-2-6-35-kernel/commits/2.6.35.9-n900-next?page=3

Here there is the source for the TSL2563 driver:
http://rosedu.org/~pylxr/stable/?proj=linux&d=/drivers/staging/iio/light

Anyone that could compile these drivers as Nitdroid modules?

Is eyes aware of all of this (excluding the FM bit hehe)?? ammyt?? I am sure it could help him greatly :)

How do you stop this thing from draining 50% battery in ~30 minutes? It also makes the N900 warm enough to make my palms sweat all over the phone.

EDIT: btw, the 2.6.35 kernel looks like it was based on the original MeeGo for N900 Preview release, and last updated almost a year ago. should probably be rebased on the latest 2.6.37 Mer kernel, which now has power management, and support for all the hardware devices. Oh, and using the 2.6.37 kernel would mean that you guys would be forced to stop depending on pieces of Maemo (this is a good thing).

brb, setting up a build machine to use for this.

EDIT2: How do we build a kernel for NITDroid?

The heat is probably the overclock or the wireless going crazy (I heard it isn't as stable as wanted). Install an overclocking program to set it to something reasonable (read a post 1 or 2 pages ago i commented on, should help) and check if the wifi is connected correctly and not going crazy (my injection drivers and modified osso-wlan on maemo sometimes try connecting all day to my home network when im at school, heats up a lot and drains battery like h*ll). Although expect it to drain a lot of battery still, not optimized and clogs the CPU too much, but those tips should help your overall system's stability and longevity ;)

Bring the clocks down, not a good idea for it to fry itself :)

Second note I believe your idea is good, any tests let us know. Now that you are setting this up if you ever compile nitdroid on your native device give the drivers above a test, if IB wasn't so annoying with extended essays and the such I would at least try myself. Thx for the good work and keep it up, hope the first suggestions help you :D

I think that kernel build instructions should be added.
It's as simple as checkout from git, and make changes, then make, preferably with the NDK. (codesourcery toolchain pumps out code of dubious reliability, based on my tests with a Tab 8.9)

EDIT: Hmm, it seems that WiFi being connected makes the battery burn. However, I was using the phone <3 feet away from the router. Does the driver just set TX power to maximum?

This could be the problem, that is exactly what happened with mine, It thought my home network was still there but to far away, so it got the TX power up and kept it there as if connected, burning through my battery and heating up the phone too.
Take into account the current objective from nitdroid right now I think is to make everything work, after it can all be used they will start bringing these optimizations along :) or maybe I'm talking nonsense and it is just a silly problem you can fix with a config file, as I said I haven't even tried nitdroid :o

For anyone having issues with "Force close" errors in a lot of apps in Nitrdoid (OOME usually), the following fix should help:

1. Boot into Maemo
2. Open X-Term (Ctrl+X)
3. Run 'vi /home/system/build.prop'
4. Press i to change to edit/insert mode
5. At the end of the file, add the following line:

Basically is just Android, so the best is study Android system in all parts..what e-yes and Nitdroid team basically do is feed Android system with N900 hardware components drivers and tells the kernel to load them ;) so the chapters are:
1) How Android system works
2) How to compile a driver in Linux and load it
3) Connect Nitdroid in Debug usb mode, load the driver into the system (insmod like) and see if it works..."works" means that the system handle with it without strange errors ;)

NITDroid runs buttery on my 32GB Sandisk Class 2.
Buy nice brands of cards (such as Sandisk, but it's $$$) that test their cards under sequential and random RW.

@blackjack4it: I think it doesn't matter if we use SmartReflex VDD1 & VDD2 if we clocked our CPU frequency <= 805 MHz, but we should disable SmartReflex VDD1 if we clocked our CPU frequency > 805 MHz. VDD2 can safely enabled in all frequencies. But it's in Maemo, and I haven't tried to make a profile in NITDroid. I don't know how to apply a profile in NITDroid.

I am describing my problem from beginning..........
I had nitroid installed
but when i tried to install kp49 the below problem arised and i posted it in kp49 thread

[I have got a problem installing kp49.......
I am currently having kp48 and kp48 boot image but when updating to kp49 it says can't update conflcting with application package kp48 boot image

and when i try to update kp49 bootimage it says can't update as kp49 breaks third party software policy.......

plz help]

apt-get update also failed to solve the above prblem as it said that pub key 400.....{sorry i don't remember the exact numer}.

So to get kp49 I unstalled kp48 bootimage and updated to kp49 successfully but again when i tried to install kp49 bootimage it said breaking 3rd party software policy so i unstalled nitroid also using unstaller and deleted every nitroid files using filebox.

"but know when I'm installing nitroid using autoinstaller it stalls everything fine as before but when it comes to end of installing N12 umay.tar and extracting packages it again says some pubkey is missing and after this it installs nitroid kernel and gives the successfully installed nitroid message and says to reboot.

when i reboot and select nitroit from multiboot
it gets started but while loading nitroid it says
"ROOT FILE MMCBLKOP2 NOT FOUND,
GURU MEDITION 000.... 633...."

I have tried installing nitroid 4 times after updating to kp49 but everytime same error msg is coming.
I am not using memory card and installing nitroid in emmc

plz anyone provide me solution for this problem

No. In nitdroid system files there are 4 Ocs profiles (500-700, 500-1000, .....). I don't know which one does nitdroid boots by default.
Thats my question.
Thank u for your interest.:)
