I just found out about this. It works for free apps on ovi store.
Let's take MAV Calculator Lite as example.
This is the URL for the app:
http://store.ovi.com/content/219125?clickSource=browse&categoryId=23&contentArea=applications&pos=14
To download directly on PC, just change the URL to:
http://store.ovi.com/content/219125/download
