Any recommendations on streaming video sites that work on 770 with OS 2006?
So far I only get Bloomberg TV, which is excellent.

If anyone have any other goods one, please post.

Thanks.

Not a streaming video site per se, but www.orb.com works really well on the nokia. (Set the stream type to "real".) Through orb.com you can get to any video on your PC and many online sites like YouTube.com. You do have to leave your PC running to use it... but it's free and it works well.

yeah unfortunately with orb you need bandwidth on your home PC

What is the difference between orb and tversity? are they pretty much similar in nature?

I guess I really did not see much a difference

with TVersity you use your own net/wlan without need to login to the provider (orb) sever. So, if you're home you can use the full bandwidth without needing to care of your internet connection's upload speed. OTOH, using TVersity when you're not at home, means you'll need the direct access to your PC, which is not always as simple as it seems (firewall, router, dynamic IPs etc..)

Nokia 770 boot from MMC running 2006 OS

After installing TVersity, under Video/Featured, there are 4 streaming videos
1) BBC Headline News
2) Bloomberg Live TV
3) Mania TV! Live (300k)
4) Revelations - Star Wars

I can kind of able to watch/hear 1) and 2) on my 770, but the streaming is so poor, it is hardly watchable. Streaming is slightly better when access via website on a desktop PC which is wired to my router. "So far I only get Bloomberg TV, which is excellent. " I would like to know your config/uPnP system as my config can hardly pick up the streaming, not to mention excellent quality. I think this boils down to how much inet bandwidth you have. My server right now is running on 54 MB wireless, actual throughput is probably approx 10 mB, I will try to use a wired PC for server see wether this helps in streaming.

Any suggestions? Anyone?
