[help] N9 quicklaunch bar

After uninstalling wazzap* which was in the quick launch), I have only 3 shortcuts,,, 1 missing

yes, quick shortcuts...bottom one when you swipe up :)

pack tar.bz2 with default settings for him ;) that's easiest, i think it just lacks link to .desktop

Even that is not needed he can just do the following in terminal as root:

cp -R /etc/xdg/meegotouchhome-nokia/launcherbuttons.data /home/user/.config/meegotouchhome-nokia/

It'll reset everything for him :D

Just use nano and correct them to the following:

home\user\.local\share\applications\quicklaunchbar 2.desktop=quicklaunchbar/2

if you tried it then how come your file is still different? did you save the file after the changes and then reboot?

yes, but it keeps going back like this, even after save !!!

do you have shortcuts or quickedit installed? uninstall them first if yes...


Edit: I'm attaching my file but it has all my other apps too listed in it...You might want to delete those from my file before replacing or simply follow the cp command in the first page from /etc/

I did uninstall quick edit once the problem occured :D, so ?

Also maybe try removing the file, rebooting and allowing the system to build a new one for you:

in terminal:

rm -r /home/user/.config/meegotouchhome-nokia/launcherbuttons.data

I restored my settings and everything is good,,,,thanks anyway
