Hi!

Could someone please provide me with a copy of /opt/alien/system ?
Seems I lost mine after installing Play Store...

Thanks!

Wouldn't reinstalling Android support from the Jolla store fix this?

I thought so, too, but it didn't... Now yandex crashes at start.

I have tampered with this folder many times already. You need to restart the phone after uninstallation Android support. Then in terminal I have removed the whole /opt/alien folder and re-installed Android support.

Of course no warranty of any kind whatsoever, but this has worked for me.

Yes, worked for me too. Although when it came to google play I had really funny effects for a while. It was like it had forgotten my identity somehow, and then it was like it was installed but with no icon, installing the application again and again never got google play back.

Then I did a manual install of some other application that I had bought, and when THAT application wanted to verify the purchase it triggered a reinstall of google play that actually brought it back and seems to work now.

Well, the android support is interesting and...flaky, the least to say.

Chrome installs BTW, but doesn't seem to load any sites, entering a URL it just sits there, nothing happens.

A lot of applications just crash on me, only thing to do is to uninstall them.

Everything went German for a while for me when I deleted mine. It switched back when I rebooted, but I had to clear some android data from elsewhere in the filesystem to fix some apps which had already downloaded their language files. Deleting /opt/alien doesn't completely reset alien dalvik.
