Hi there!
A weird thing started about few hours ago : if I try to make the Bluetooth works....it doesn't! the icon start blinking, and if I go into settings ,it tell me that the "bluetooth is not available".....
Ps: in case someone needs to see a logfile...please, tell how to do using Terminal.
Thanks and Up the Irons!

Did you install some app like bleutooth thetering ? Maybe a uninstall of that package may help.

:)

I have same problem... reboot didn't fix anything :(
I also had Tethering installed, but I uninstall it.
So now what? No bluetooth???

I tried to restart service:
>> devel-su
>> systemctl restart bluetooth.service

Failed to issue method call: Unit bluetooth.service failed to load: No such file or directory. See system logs and 'systemctl status bluetooth.service' for details.

Meaning lose everything and reinstall everything? :(
I will do as last resort but before that, there must be a way to restart this service somehow..

what do you get with this? (search phone files (as root) for that bluetooth.service)

last two are for systemctl, afaik

[root@localhost /]# find | grep bluetooth.service

Unfortunately, I don't get any of these.

bash-4.2$ devel-su
bash-4.2# find | grep bluetooth.service
bash-4.2#

So clearly I am screwed, right?

I had the same thing. Reset the phone and it is ok

After resetting phone, how did you manage to restore contacts, gallery etc? Did you copy them in advance on SD card like it is instructed here?

did you guys install - or try to install - my bluez package?

please in any case try to reinstall original bluez package (as root)

zypper install --force bluez-4.101-1.1.1.armv7hl

if asked about libraries, choose "1" as option

reboot once done

I'm trying to....:
going to Terminal, devel-su then my password.
Then i wrote your line : " zypper install --force bluez-4.101-1.1.1.armv7hl ".
It told me :
bash: zypper: command not found

I'm sorry,I'm not a dev, so if You just could tell me how to do or what to write...!!!! please! Thank You!!!

You have to run pkcon install zypper first.

EDIT: OK nieldk got this one first :)

So it is not advisable (or safe yet) to update bluez and bluez-libs from warehouse yet?

I see now updates available for both packages to version 4.101+git22-1.8.1.

Those I guess are Jolla releases.
I have removed all my packages

It works, Nieldk!!!!
Thank YOU!!!!!!!

just 2 questions:
1) it's safe to install tethering?
2) where the hell can I find all the command line for the use of Terminal/FingerTerm? (like pkcon etc etc...)
Thanks!!!

Tethering is fine, no problem
As for pkcon, zypper etc, they are standard Linux packaging tools and docs are in man pages for these

this happened to me but for gprs / 3g connection.

and i kept seeing a green notification at the top of the screen "Problem connecting" or "Problem with connection"

phone became quite hot and was not responsive. the green notification kept flashing / disappearing / flashing repeatedly. phone would eventually react but to taps / gestures that i did like 10-15seconds ago.

reboot fixed it.

Hmmm I also have this package installed: 4.101+git22-1.8.1 and what strange, that I updated 2 days ago via wherehouse and I don't have nieldk repo. If this is a jolla update, how it possible that I updated via wherehouse ?

OFF. Is it possible to copy text from system vkb to terminal (fingerterm vkb), I can't do it, for example I can't copy output from terminal and paste it to note or vise versa.. This is normal or something wrong with my phone ?

I only had v5.14 bluez and libraries on my repo, so the update is def not from me. I also dont see any other bluez packs on Warehpuse, so my best guess is Jolla release (allthough the version 101 I reffered to seems to be qhat is on Jolla repo) strange indeed.
As for copy/paste. I cant do that also, I guess its a bug to report
