Is there a program out there that is simlar to the excel spreadsheet program?

haven't seen anything other than maybe using a web based copy. But give it time... ;)

A port of Gnumeric (http://maemo.org/maemowiki/ApplicationCatalogWip#head-128de8b5708ed4c08a875056504942fb7a1f5809) is in progress. You can install a beta version from a link in this blog entry (http://www.internettablettalk.com/blog/?p=214).
