I hope this is the correct forum, as my question is quite specific:

I unintenionally practiced mobile phone throwing with my Jolla. It survived the flight of around 10 m to concrete surprisingly well, but due to a tiny deformation of the case now the On/off key gets stuck regularly. This leads to problems to unlock the phone and to unintentional reboots. As I want to use my good old Jolla until a next gen SFOS phone is available:

Is there a way to change the key mappinhgs (On/off key to volume up or down).
Or can you think of another "workaround"

Thanks a lot!

How about disassembling your Jolla and deforming it back or grind off some material so that your Powerkey won't stuck anymore?

For unlocking you also are able to just use the double tap gesture. :)

There is also Powermenu by coderus but I don't know if it is customisable enough: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=93587&highlight=powermenu

And swipe down to lock. I very rarely use my power key. :)

Wow, I feel a bit stupid now. 18 months of Jolla and I did not know about that gesture...

Yeah, I knew about that one!
Well thanks a lot guys, problem solved!
