Root for Jolla Tablet Aliendalvik

Hello Sailfishers!

I bought an Jolla Tablet this WE and have some questions about root its Aliendalvik (Android 4.4.4 KiteKat), so i can use some Android-Apps, which required root?

On our Jolla Phone we have alredy aliendalvik-root from Coderus (Thanks, Andrew, btw.)

Any news on that?

Since we have full access to the file system it must be easy to copy the needed x86 KiteKat su-binary on the right place and install superuser.apk afterwards.
or am i completly wrong?

I don't remember what was wrong exactly when i tried to do same thing for my tablet. Wish you have more luck :)

Thanks for the info coderus, can you remember to which folder you copied the su binary?
Was it /system/xbin ?
