Looks good. It does update.
But... Is there possibility to set the Intervals to more than 120 Sec? (every 30min would be optimal)

And is there a possibility to make it shut down the...

How can I start a Shell-Script from the Desktop?

I have copied a .desktop file in /usr/share/applications/hildon/
and Changed the Exec line to

Exec=/bin/sh "/home/user/myscript.sh"
...
