Does Sharp66's reply make this any clearer? The N900 doesn't have a viewfinder, so you can't use that to project the image onto the paper. So what Sharp66 wants is the transparent image layer on top...

As I understand it, it is similar to something my parents used when they were students. You can basically trace a picture's most important information onto a blank piece of paper by visually...

If you modify some scripts a little, maemo recognises and mounts ext* partitions, and camera-ui2 has no trouble saving to them.

Just tested that - stock always opens in fullscreen after a reboot.
