dangit. should've tried connecting the drive first. i was pretty sure it was going to work, because it uses an external power source, but alas, it just doesn't get recognized like my thumb drives do....

palmleavr: if you have the *.nph files (not npz; i'm guessing you had a typo there) in the right folder, they'll automatically be detected when the game starts up, and you just have to use the arrow...

i can't help you with top, but i can recommend load-applet (http://maemo.org/downloads/product/OS2008/load-applet/), a toolbar app with simple GUI that lists all running processes and how much memory...

0. yes. i have experienced battery drain with my a-data SD card, which would probably be worse if the whole OS was on the card. bottom line: brand DOES matter. stick with SanDisk or search the forums...
