Old firmware does nasty things to N900s.. downgrading tends to upset stuff, so hearing you're using the new one is a good thing :)

Don't such an old firmware with such a new EMMC image
you're using firmware from 2009 and an EMMC image from April 2010?
Why?
Use the most recent firmware 20.2010.36 and the most recent EMMC...

When flashing the eMMC content, always flash the FIASCO/Rootfs image and then flash the eMMC. Do not boot up the device between the two i.e do NOT use the -R parameter at the end!

if youre flashing the emmc aswell you didnt have to include " -R " in the end
