The longer I wait the more the chances I am flipping to the dark side really. The only thing that saves me is that the Note is also not yet available. But if it comes first I will be in a very...

Re: ICE Cream sandwich Could this kill n9 before it is really out there?

You don't need to read this thread, but yet you did and also you had to comment on it. Your tone is both irritated and condescending, so it's easy to assume your protective position to the N9 is...

Re: ICE Cream sandwich Could this kill n9 before it is really out there?

You don't need any external forces to kill the N9.
Nokia has shown itself to be fully capable of doing that on its own.

Re: N9 owners: answer questions & get help!

As a former hardware developer in electronics (in the mobile phone industry, incidentally), I can assure you that all "modern" phones manage the battery charging the right way and stop charging the...

This whole announce early, release late game isn't working any longer. Time means way too many...

Re: Should I a Nexus Prime, N9 or just keep my N900?

We need to be honest about the positives and negatives about each platform. N900/Maemo was ahead of its competition (best web browser on the market, video calling) and almost every body in TMO...

Re: Should I a Nexus Prime, N9 or just keep my N900?

Software matters.

You can buy a machine with 16 cpu cores and load MS DOS 6 on it.

But most of us will probably still prefer a clunky atom machine running Ubuntu to the aforementioned...

Re: Should I a Nexus Prime, N9 or just keep my N900?

NOTE this is based on my use of the SGS2, which is like Note only... slightly worse specced... So may or may very well not be useful.

SGS2 is better to type with since it has Swiftkey X from...

Re: N9 [Shipping]: It's finally here [for some]!

Weird review. But it's not going to be all a rosy picture for the Nokia N9. The N900 was a more open, more "free" phone.

The N9 is proving to be more locked down than my Android phones. That's...

Re: N9 [Shipping]: It's finally here [for some]!

Nokia N9 has a brighter display than both when set to maximum brightness.
Nokia N9 is also noticeably easier to read tiny white...
