Now you need to install Personal Menu and make a menu item that runs the command line, "debbie abiword"

jaeezzy: I think your problem is caused by the recent movement of 'lenny' to 'stable'. Clear out your Debian /etc/apt/sources.list and make sure it has only these three lines:

The category: pages (along with all other namespaced pages) were deliberately stripped out. This was because most of them are not useful (eg help pages), and some of them are huge and caused problems...

Best thing to do is go to the Debian package search form (http://www.debian.org/distrib/packages) and try some search terms.

Searching on "project management" gives a long list of alternatives...

intery: are you using Java Web Start for this? You shouldn't even use a browser for jnlp apps.

EDIT: and believe me, this really is "Easy Debian Lite". A 1.1 GB Debian file system is tiny.
