Quick'n'dirty workaround: try adding -Wno-error=narrowing to CFLAGS in the Makefile.

I've done some fixes to Telescope and now it works fine on my Ubuntu 12.04.

Hi,

Telescope surely can work on desktop, but it requires some slight midifications to work well with modern desktop window managers.

I just spent 10 minutes to build Telescope on my Ubuntu...

Alternative-OS-wise, I don't think we need anything from Nokia anymore. The only problem is lack of sufficient community critical mass.

If you can get it to build on Ubuntu or whatever and provide build instructions and a source tarball, I can make an Arch package, or at least a PKGBUILD so other Arch users could build the package...
