This is caused by either the Policy Kit when acquiring the audio resource or by Pulse Audio when returning from the power saving mode and re-enabling the audio HW. This happens on the N9 and Jolla...

It was billboard-problem, just got the same...

About native twitter - it uses own mask (twitter-avatar-mask AFAIK) so I can't fix it, but I use awesome Rocket-client instead...
