espeak is doing something weird with the sound output, but you can avoid it by using espeak --stdout | aplay. This will respect the volume control of the N900.

Moreover, if you add & at the end...

Calendar Home Widget replacement

Hi,

I made a replacement for the built-in calendar home widget.
It is currently in extras devel with version 0.2.
At the moment this is only for testing. There can be bugs, leaks, crashes....
