Yup, we've known about the id pin causing an interrupt and by default switching to a_idle and also setting some sysfs file to read id (I forget which) instead of vbus. That only changes that...

Yes, but aiui this was accomplished by "echo host >mode" triggering a fake ID_GND signal from "PHY" layer to the above machinery, which our 1707 alas is incapable to do.

Compiled a kernel that works (finally! - thanks to joerg_rw for pointing out how to stop any power limits - my flash apparently needs more power).
I'll post a patch shortly.

One caveat.
the current exposed by the bq27200 needs multiplied by (20/3.57)mA to get a current.
It's a raw value from the chip.
the '20' is arguable - but is at least more or less reasonable....

1) modprobe bq27x00_battery and check /sys/class/power_supply/bq27200-0
3) both are compiled in
ls /sys/kernel/debug/usbmon/
0s 0u 1s 1t 1u
