And that is weak point of Nokia. Without a working app ecosystem, their phones will be a one-off income for them.

Look at Android, iPhone and BB. Even the old phones have the potential to continue...

Your device might run smooth at 950MHz, but there is a risk that you are decreasing GSM900 receiver (RX) sensitivity. GSM is narrow band (200kHz) mobile system and clock's which are using those...

I don't think so, this CPU sleeps during IDLE and it looks like with switched off frequency.

So far I'm using 3C for 1.1GHz (doesn't crash but didn't run extensive tests) and
40 for 1.2GHz (untested).

Right now I'm playing with the lower voltages for Idle, 250, 500 and 550 MHz.
