Re: [Announce] Pierogi - a universal infrared remote control app

Actually, they aren't absent, but rather hidden; if you go up to the Pierogi menu, and select "Secondary Buttons", you'll find four more tabs filled with buttons I didn't have space for in the main...

And yeah, I've tried to lay out the buttons in a manner that I...

Honestly, Hildon in Maemo 5 is great. Don't know why they stripped so much of...

Re: [Announce] modRana: a flexible GPS navigation system

No need to create it by hand - the file contains a (binary) dump of modRanas settings dictionary and should just be autogenerated if not present.

Things to check:

the ownership/permissions of...

Re: Which Linux to use on Windows 7 64-bit as dual boot?

Re: Anyone Flashed an N900 with Win 7 64 Pro?

Yeah, wont be a problem with HP. The problem with windows 7 64bit is driver signing. Using the driver from inf-wizard.exe as described in the wiki works fine though. Have flashed my N900 many times...

Re: Anyone Flashed an N900 with Win 7 64 Pro?

@monkeyman and anim1

I have a dv7 Hp 64 with, then, a beta version of win 7 Pro. I flashed my N900 twice without any issues.

I don't think it is an HP issue.

Re: Which Linux to use on Windows 7 64-bit as dual boot?

For me the different distros are more down to what look you prefer, of course some will be better supported then others so "drivers" will be easier to find/included.

Re: Which Linux to use on Windows 7 64-bit as dual boot?

Perhaps, you could offer the following?

why you want a 64 bit OS (as opposed to 32 bit)

what you propose to do with it that requires 64 bit over 32?

You can invite more trouble than it's...
