Only a working kernel-power setup is necessary, either CSSU or non-CSSU will work.

Since you have no helpful info in your posts, i could only guess, that the kernel-power install failed. You may want to additionally install kernel-power-modules and kernel-power-flasher.

MOD EDIT 22-04-2013: Since the migration is completed, the temporary repos are not needed. It should be fine using the default repos.

you'd better use dsp profile, not ideal as it is deprecated. And I am not aware of what sib player is, but if it does not use gstreamer, there will be no difference. anyway, you should use stock...
