I have never managed to get a hold of an original Jolla Tablet, so I am really holding out hope for this tablet for a while now. I'm fine with waiting longer if it means finally getting a device.

I as another backer have no issue with the delay as long as the device actually arrives eventually, so I definitely prefer a device (even if delayed) to a refund.

Just to make a check list :

The Jolla phone is updated to the latest 34.3.A.0.228 or .238 firmware (Important to do first because after unlocking the boot loader, OTA won't work as easily)

Exactly. You have reached the point where the bootloader can be unlocked.
Now you need to actually unlock.

That's strange, for me double tap is working quite well on Xperia.

And with Android it's also possible to double tap to sleep/close the screen. I find it very intriguing to maybe have both...

Definately it lays ground for the better models. Even when I have the Xperia X I hope very very much that SFOS makes it to the flagship models. It's time to bring SFOS out of the second class phones...

The 128GB chip is very expensive over past few weeks. You will end up paying a lot $ for the extra 64GB, like Apple's product. While the price difference you can buy an 128GB SD card easily...
